I'd rather be second best in a hundred things than the best at just one.

Lets just start with the basics. I'm 31 and living in Garland, TX, a suburb of Dallas. I've lived in Texas all of my life, went to college in Texas, and can't wait to get the hell out of here. I've been married to my wife Kristy for nearly 3 years. We have two dogs (Buckley and Mabel), a cat (Hunter, after Hunter S. Thompson) and a horse (Dervish). My wife and I recently bought the house that I was raised in by my parents, which is kind of unique. The situation is unique, not necessarily the house.

I have many interests, but I spend most of my time with: Homebrew, board game collection (good board games you've probably never heard of, not Monopoly), disc golf, backpacking, watching the History Channel and other science/nature/history programs, and playing and collecting music. I sing and write music for the band Pickle. When I read, I enjoy mainly history and philosophy books, but my fiction reading is usually fantasy books, like Harry Potter. Love the HP.
