That's Great TV
Normally, I don't watch a lot of TV. I have a few shows I enjoy, but even when Kris is watching TV, I'm normally doing other stuff around the house. There are some exceptions. If any of the "Law and Order" shows are on, I'm sucked right in. Also, "The Family Guy" and "King of the Hill" get watched from top to bottom. And after last night, I have two brand new shows to add to that list. Kris and I randomly caught the start of "Starved" and "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia" yesterday. Two new shows on FX. I couldn't believe how funny these shows are. Normally, I don't go in for comedies, but "Starved" is one of the most cutting edge comedies I have seen. It focuses around 4 friends who have eating disorders. Doesn't seem like it could be funny, but its a fucking riot. "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia" almost has an improv feel, but its also a situational comedy about three friends who own a bar in Philly. Amazingly acted, and the script is very natural. None of the jokes are forced. I rarely make TV recommendations, but here you are. If you have a chance, check out these two shows. Its a great hour of TV. Of course, afterwards, get off your ass. You watch too much TV.
